Do I need to put any type of sealer on the gaskets? If so, does it go between the gasket and the water pump or the gasket and the engine block or both? What type of serler is best?

I use Copper RTV, lightly coat both sides of the gasket and stick it to the block for installation. Make sure the block is clean as can be. Also put some RTV on all of the bolt ends since they protrude into the water jacket as well.
