Default Running rich...

The exhaust smells rich and when coming downhill and I let off the gas and just coast the exhuast gurgles and pops, nothing loud and no backfires but just a light popping sound. I'm assuming I'm running rich, right? So my question is, how do I fix this?

Also, my distributor is making a pulsating whistle sound, I thought it was the EGR but I put the stethoscope everywhere and it is definately coming from the Distributor, any ideas?

Thanks everyone.

Could the vacuum hose that goes to the heater controls be broken? Follow the vacuum port by the back of passenger side of the manifold to the driver side by the brake booster. Their is a check valve one side goes forward to the Vacuum ball and the other side goes into the interior via a wiring harness.

Doh, it is broken. Actually that one and the one that goes to the FPR both were cracked. I was able to get the FPR one from the dealer but we couldn't find a part number for the one that goes to the check valve, go figure :mad For a temp fix, I wrapped it with electrical tape. Any idea what the part number is? And thanks for the input.

You don't have to use hard lines, you can use regular vac hose. I believe you can get the hard lines and check from Ecklers or Corvette America. You can cut and makeup custom lines, I don't know if they still sell factory vac lines like that.
