How to remove rear bumper?

Default How to remove rear bumper?

I recently bought a 1985 corvette. The previous owner smashed the rear bumper and i cant figure out how to remove it. there is 30 nut to remove and i cant easely access them.

Do any of you have any tip on how to do that job?

Same was with mine when I got her but I had to rewire all the tails.
If you can remove the mufflers.
Remove rear wheels and liners put safely on stands
Take out L plate and rear backup lights
Remove tail lights because you will need to reach inside for the top bolts.
From wheel start working up to the middle with a 1/4 socket and long extension
At the top I believe I reached in with a 10mm small wrench.
Clean everything and make sure you still have a cushion in there(mine was missing.
I think I just cut the antennae wires marked them and put them back later. Because the connector is inside the car.

What xrav said. Its a genuine PITA and the more extraneous stuff you can remove for access the better. All I have to say is get used to it, You cant take anything off these cars without taking something else off.

thanks for the advice!
it finally came off after my arm got stuck in the light hole and after a loss a ratchet in the bumper.
the nut were actualy all 10mm in corner and 7mm at the top.
