Default brakes help
hit the brakes today and got a hissing sound inside the car and no
power brakes what could this be? brake booster? or a line to the booster?

Sounds like power brake booster to me

Same problem with mine and it turned out to be the brake booster.

OR it could be the line to the booster. Hope so, that is an easy fix, the booster not so easy.

Common sound from a cracked brake booster. Happened to me last month it was really a PIA to change. Plan on about 4 hours work. I got my replacement from NAPA good quality piece at a fair price.
