Turn off interior lighting.
I am working on the interior of my 93 coupe today and will have the doors and rear hatch open all day.
Is there some way to turn off the interior cabin lighting in order to prevent draining the battery?
Thanks

I hook up a trickle charger when I plan on working with the hood or doors open for a long period of time. Also you can then play the radio.

on my 95 the interior lights will turn off automatically after extended time of being ON (door open). I wonder if the 93 would be the same? anyone know if they are the same?

My 93 vert interior lights "time out" about 15 minutes after the door is opened.

The interior lights on my '87 will even turn off after a short time, so I would expect that the later C4's will do the same. But the two lights on the B-pillars that illuminate when the rear hatch is open will not shut off.
The two bulbs for these lights can easily be removed; just pop out the lenses and pull the bulbs out. Takes less than a minute to do. Pulling the fuse works too, but I believe that you have to reset the clock in the radio.

Despite several of you sharing that your lights timed out, mine never did. Neither for the doors or the rear hatch, and I tried them separately.
So, I just took frequent breaks and shut everything each time I was away.
