LT4 HotCam + Stock ECM
Other than obviously not taking full advantage of the combination/power to be made, are there any adverse effects of running the stock programming with a LT4 HotCam for a while?

Your stock revlimiter will drive you nuts since the hotcam makes power 800rpms higher then the LT1 cam. You will need to have the ECM calibrated to allow you to take full advantage of the rpm range of the hotcam

Yes/No. If you don't mind inconsitant idle and sometimes unstable low rpm cruise, then no problem. You will perform better from 3000rpm to whatever rpm your max power is at. If the above might bother you, then you must do some re-programing.
