I have a 1992 6-speed Corvette. I'm replacing the rear (3:42) to a new Dana rear (3:73). Does the calibration for the speedo need to be done through the ECM or is there a speedo calibration gear like on some older models?
he best way is with a gear change in the tailshaft of the tranny. Get a hold of 18carfan to set you up with the correct ones. Let me know if you want his #-I'll dig it out.

And to add to this you will need to change the, drive gear, the driven gear, and the sensor if your orig. rearend was a 2.59. It sounds like a lot, but I believe all the parts were around $30.00 By the way, 94 was the first year that you programed the speed. 93 and back is still gear driven.
