Default 1986 horn wiring help

Hello, thanks in advance for helping

My 1986 vert has a horn issue.... fuse 15 amp is ok behind message center relay operates with horn button , verified with testlight , ohms read in millions from green wire at relay to left or right horn power wire ,if i send power down the green wire from relay still no horn op ,checked horn at itself it operates, so now i suspect the green wire as being broken somewhere. but i do not know where this wire goes from the relay to horn ie connector locations and harness locations and am i missing something in my checks ....thank you for helping

also looking for g5 c100 location

cheers!

horns go off when grounded by the green wire.....don't think you should be sending power down it....ground it and it should blow....chances are your horns are crap...common problem...get a A and a C tone horn at any
auto store.....there is a horn relay....you may have blown it with the extra power....time for a gm factory manual if you don't have one...

The Dark Green wire from the horn relay goes to connector C100 pin G5 which is the firewall bulkhead connector.

In the engine compartment C100 has two connector plugs that plug into it.
One is the engine harness and the other is the lighting harness. My guess is the Dark
Green wire is in the lighting harness pin G5.

Thank you Hooked on Vettes! THIS is exactly what i needed ....i now fixed the problem which was a bad factory 4 wire splice a few inches in front of LF horn funny as in all threads relating to horns that i found none mentioned this splice as a problem or at all but being prior to any horn will stop them from working mine was rusted and completely not in contact .

Have a great day!!
