I need new drag radials, and my rear wheels are 17x11.5" fikse fm5's, with 315/35/17 tires. I don't know if it's my drm trailing arm relocation brackets, my 11 and a HALF inch wheels, my alignment, or whatever...but my bfg drag radials slightly rub the upper trailing arm at times, just at the front bushing. Doesn't look like a camber issue, as the outer edge of the tire sticks out past the fender a bit. I do have some grand sport fender flares to be painted and installed if necessary. But Mickey Thompson has a 305/45r17 et street R radial tire, which equals about 28 inches tall, as opposed to the 25.6" or so of the 315 bfg. I know some of you have taller tires on your C4's, did anything have to be modified to make them fit? I believe they also make a 295/45/17 et street drag radial, which would also address my width issue, and be taller, about 27.4", to address my hooking up issue. Thanks for any experiences you can share.
