Wanted to share my first quarter mile run for me and my car. It is a 1986, 383, teremec 5 speed, 373 gears and street tires. I am #9. There is room for improvement, I hit the rev limiter on 1st and second gear, no to worried about reaction time right now.

It's not bad, the idle is not that lumpy. The track is an hour away from the house, the ride quality is the worse thing with the z51 suspension. Gets decent gas mileage,17mpg.
You did well. My stock 86 (Z-51) runs 14.037. 12 seconds is darn quick. Isnt that first yellow countdown and run a hoot? I too have only ran once. Plan on returning with drag radials sometime. Oh, good looking car too
