The early style Optis are all 1 piece. It is my understanding that the later Optis (95-96) have a cap and rotor that can be purchased and replaced separately. However, this is not common in practice, as 99% of all Optis are replaced in whole. Changing the cap and rotor out most likely won't cure the problems associated with moisture, the #1 cause of Opti failure. The late model Optis are around $230 from Jeff Kopp, so it's not that bad to replace it.
