Default LED vanity mirror question on 88

I purchased 2 new sun visors with vanity lights. The new visors have LEDs in them. They do not look to be removable. There is no light socket where they can be un-plugged and pulled out. My question, the LEDs do not come on. Using a test light, there is power to the LED. I know about reversing LED bulbs to make them come on. If I reverse the wiring harness will this accomplish the same thing?
Or should I send them back.

I would try reversing the wiring harness to see what happens. I think it will work...

Cliff,
Thanks. Glad you hunt in the C4 Forums often. I'll try it and post back this weekend. I can only blow the fuse again.

Are you sure you have a good ground connection?

Connection is working. When I move the visor light switch my test light goes on and off.

These LEDs are not flipible. These LEDs are not the same as you see on the light web sites. They are wired in. Don’t know why that is.
Cloth material is different but is black. Go to one of the advertisers who sell new visors to get a better look. They also don’t have the flap part on the end as OEMs do. Except for the lights being wired up wrong, they are much better looking than the stock 88 visors I still have on the car. Have a 4 day weekend coming up so I am going to switch the wires on the plug that inserts into the visor harness. Hopefully this fixes the problem. Sending them back is a hassle plus how do I know I am going to get a set that is wired up correctly.

just flip the pins in the harness plug on the visor.. that will in turn 'flip' the LEDs. I had to do that with my Hood lights

I tried to push them out of the visor plug harness with a very tiny screw driver and a paper clip. They wouldn't come out. Going to try that again on the pin attached to the cars wiring harness.
