Default 1996 corvette headlight problem

I just recently bought whole headlight assemblies for my 96 off of another 96 that was wrecked in 99 and been inside parked. My headlights were not working. These motors do work. I tested them and they spun before i purchased them off the wrecked car. After removing and installing they did not work. I then remove and replace the module that mounts directly in front of left tire. Now the headlights spin to the on position but will not spin closed. I was wondering what to do now and if anybody has any insight as to where my problem still lies. I have fixed half the problem. Any info or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nathan was a regular informative poster for many years. There may be an answer somewhere in this link:

On the headlight control module are two connectors.

C1 has 4 wires.
C2 has 5 wires.

Connector C2 has the following wires.
Pin A Yellow wire has 12 volts on it when the headlight switch is in Head position.
Pin B Red wire 12 volts hot all the time.
Pin C Dark Green wire 12 volts with headlight switch Off.
Pin D Black wire is Ground.
Pin E Red wire 12 volts hot all the time.

You can unplug the connector to make it easier to measure the voltage or you can back probe the connector while it's still attached to the module.

With the headlight switch in the Off position measure the voltage on connector C2 Pin C Dark Green wire.

Use Pin D a Black wire for the meter lead ground or use the negative terminal of the battery.

You should measure 12 volts DC.
If no 12 volts the headlight switch is bad or the wiring from the Dark Green wire to the headlight switch is bad.
If you have 12 volts the headlight control module is bad.
