THERMOSTAT
are you supposed to use RTV gasket sealer for the thermostat housing? or do you just put the new one in and put it back together with the 2 screws?
I have a 96 vette. Please help..?

Rubber gasket should come with the stat, don't have to use sealer, just watch when tightening the bolts so as not to crack the housing 89 lbs. in according to the GM manual.
