Default 93lt1 into 94car build

I recently found out the 93 uses a diffrent Intake then my 94 along with a few other little changes. My question is what will I need to Change on the car to make the 93 intake work with the stock 94 computer.?

Im building a forged blown 383

Iv collected stock 93 103kmile block to build
callies rotating assembly
will be changing fuel system will be using stock head heavy heavily ported by a close friend that's done head work for dodges srt line and there old NASCAR team along with heads for my brothers 9 second amx and his friends 8second mustang convertible. less money then Lloyd Elliot or id be using him.
and getting ready to place a order with blower works.
Im trying to keep car running while I build motor and would hate to take heads and intake off if I can easily make the 93 stuff work. Thanks for any help with this problem.

No both intakes will work the same with your PCM.
Callies has very nice components, excellent choice.
Hope you have a good tuner ready for the blown 383
This should be very interesting depending on your parts choice.
I would move up to the edelbrock pro flow XT Intake and modify to 1206 race ports. And AFR heads or similar.
But that's me.

Keep us posted, get this build done. So far you have a great plan.

There are massive differences between the 93 and the 94. Yes the intake manifold is different, mainly to allow the crossover fuel rail of the 94 due to it being sequential rather than batch fire.

The big problem is going to be the pcm difference. Your 94 expects a MAF and a fuel rail that will support sequential firing of the injectors. Your 93 is built without a MAF and runs speed density and is batch fired. Now I would expect you couild source a 94-95 intake manifold and fuel rail but you need to check exactly what the difference was in the heads as the 93 have a different part number than the 94-97.

Once you have a 94 intake and 94 fuel rail and a MAF for a 94 hopefully you won't run into many more unknowns, but google is going to be a friend. The move from 93-94 was complicated by the SD to MAF and batch fire to sequential injector control from the pcm just as the 94 to 95 was complicated by the Opti and Opti drives being different.

The IAC is different so you will need one from the 94 to match the harness. What tranny are you using? From the 93 or the 94? VSS are different and you will need to sender that works with the EE def file in the 94 pcm.

I did not know the head where different hummm my 94 motor is complete and running in the car still I can scavenge parts from the 94 to put on the 93 bottom end if its that different I was just hoping to keep the car running while I built this motor so no down time. Reason I didn't go with aftermarket heads was budget with blower rearend and transmission refresh I couldnt come up with more money at this time the stock head will be worked over really well. And with a f1 I'm hoping will push the car into the 10s. Thanks for the information ill do some more research.

Stock 200k mile 94 vet I bought the 93 motor complete running for 700$ oil pan to intake all sensors and t.b the transmission is the 4l60e that is in the 94 but was rebuild last year with yank 3k stall beast sun shell heavy-duty 4-3 clutch pack red alto bands and so on ran the car at the track pulled only a 13.8 I was happyish but me and my brother got together and desided motor needed rebuilt and might as well go as far as we could with it.

No problem then. The block is the same. Build the short block and simply install it and take the top end from your 94 and they will mate right up. Although there is a part number difference in the head, I don't think it is a significant difference. I do have a 94 block under worked 93 heads and a LT4 intake in my 93 Camaro 383.

So in theory I can have the 93 top end sent off and worked on and then buy new throttle body use my 94s iac and fuel rails and new maf and be ok? Reasoning is the heads and intake work is 6 months-a year turn around guys extremely busy. But very excited and I could have him start work sooner but will cost more money and I could just buy afr heads for that price. Thanks again for the help. In sort in this out

If you built your Spare LT1 block.
Yes you could use the 93 intake send it out or you could port it.
The IAC as we all know is on the TB.
The 92 - 93 ECM makes it batch fire. Speed density
The 94 - 95 PCM makes it sequential. You could switch to Speed density, If you re-flashed changing the Switch table. Once you have your complete LT1 built. Then bolt all of your 94 components, MAF and so on. From your car Due to you now no longer need that engine. Drop in your fresh built engine. You already have the 94 - 95 PCM,
