88 with dashboard problems
My dash lights and odometer went out recently but the turn signals and bright lights indicators work. For a short time before they went out, when I turned the ignition switch they would come on briefly but then disappear. Now I can't get them to come on at all. If anyone can give me some ideas as to what it could be, I sure would appreciate it! If you know of someone between Chicago and Rockford that you'd recommend to repair it too, I would be so grateful!

Your symptoms are consistent with a bad connection between the two PC boards in the dash. It is common for the solder connections to go bad and cause intermittent problems.

This was perhaps the easiest repair I've had to make on my car. The hardest part was putting the darn thing back in the car. Just follow along with the video. Piece of cake!
