Which one is easiest to use?Which one is better?Cost?Just throwing around the idea of getting one or the other, and just want all the info I can get to see if it would be worth it.Any others out there worth considering? Thanks in advance.
I just compared....no contest....tunercat! I've already got tunercat-so the tdf=$20.00 and $130.00 for an akm dual head cable that I can use for everything from 86 to 95. Compare that to lt1 edit cost! And you also need the cable with lt1 edit. I'm just waiting for the cable now.
I have Tunercat software, and it is very straight forward and easy to use. I talked with Tunercat a couple of weeks ago about when they were going to have software for the 96 - 97 cars, and they said that they would have it by the end of the year. :yesnod:
Dragracr,I see in your sig that your self tuned. How long would it be after I got the setup would it take before I knew what the heck I was doing?Ive never messed with anything other than my diacom plus.
Well, with the Tunercat software you should be able to read the program that Ed Wright has already done(unless he has it blocked), and that would be a good start. You can modify his programming. Also you can save the original program and if you don't like a new one that you have done, you can just go back to the old one. As for not knowing what to do, you just have to start playing around with it. We all were there once. I am still learning myself. You can do a search, on the forum and find out tons of info also.
