1985 C4 antenna cable plug broke off

Default 1985 C4 antenna cable plug broke off
The silver plug on the antenna cable broke off of the cable from the antenna.
Can a new cable be bought?

The plug can't be taken apart otherwise Id try the solder the thin copper wire back in it...

Please help. Thanks!

Motorola Plug for Motorola antenna connectors

Fits standard car radio antenna cables. This is a hard to find item, perfect for situations where you need to replace the Motorola antenna plug on car stereos antennas, etc. Solder tab and crimp on rear of connector. Fits RG-59 Type coax

That wont work. It wont connect to the interior wire.
Needs to be specific to the vette and not a universal plug end.

Could you go with universal and change both ends? Or just cut both off and solder and seal

I broke the same connector and was able to find a used cable. Part number 22038695.

Someone wants to sell me an antenna as a core for the cable but I only need the cable. Rather not spend money on a whole antenna for just the cable.

Not sure if your is the same as my 94 the antenna is a pita don't want to do it again.

There are no new cables for my style plug cable. Have to buy a whole new antenna.
Just rebuilt it and it works great.
