The cylinder heads on my car are cracked and i need to buy replacements. I was thinking about going with the stock ones but i can't find any anywhere!!! So I might try performance heads! What do you guys recommend? What are some good brands for performance heads? Could I use my stock intake with them?
Thanks
Dave C

What year motor you wrenching on? I'm pulling my 90k mile aluminum 128 heads of my stock 86 convertible pretty soon to do a build if your interested in them shoot me a pm
he has a 90 model motor which has 113 heads. (58cc chambers)
the two I listed are replacement heads with no drama.
one factory and one a little better without altering his compression ratio. Afr offers a small chamber head but it is special.

I'd spend the bit extra and get some summit/jegs house brand alum or other base model alum heads like dart SHP. Even if the new head chamber is a little bigger it'll outflow those stockers and more than make up for it. Nothing china!
edit: ARF is the best and I herd edelbrock don't have as many casting problems these days.

Reason: edit
i took a chance on some heads from Skip White on E-bay. They work ok, $750. Not sure if you could benefit from better heads if you don't have exhaust, headers, cam and intake/plenum upgrades plus a tune though. Then your looking at gears possibly and a stall converter if an automatic.
You can also find replacements all over the place, as I already mentioned in the for sale section, I have a set......they're easy to find.
