Coilover question for street/strip use?
I´m planning of installing a coilover kit for my -85 C4. Plan is to have a nice stiff setup on the street but also suitable for the strip.
Does anyone have any experience? Pros/cons?
Car has a turbocharged 355 putting out 808rwhp and 904rwtq.
Thanks
/Svante.

I'm running Penske coilovers
The trouble is you want it stiff for handling on the street, but on the strip you want it soft for weight transfer
What shocks are you going to run?
You need some adjustables.

Thanks Brian,
I'm leaning towards Exotic muscle's race kit. I think he uses Bilstein shocks, but im not sure how adjustable they are.
Any thoughts about this kit?

They make a good kit, not sure if it's available with adjustables
The VanSteel kit comes with double adjustables, and a stiff rear lower mount.
I'm running the same mount, but I had to modify it to clear my rod end suspension.

If you change out the mounting setup in the front you will have all the options in the world. Back is fine but the front is to narrow to fit the normal size springs.
