After receiving Code 44, I discovered a broken pigtail on the passenger side O2 sensor (i.e., the lead from the engine harness that the O2 sensor wire plugs into). Ordered a replacement, but cannot find the wire to splice into depicted in the FSM. Item #12 is the O2 sensor wire which is brand new. The male connector was broken off and I cannot find the harness wire anywhere.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I've a '92 FSM which you would think similar and it has no better component views but I would think that there would be a conduit that runs down near the convertor bracket, forward above the solenoid and would contain the O2 connector as well as the temp sensor wires to the rear of the head. I'd follow the wires from the temp sensor #11 to the conduit and I'm going to assume the wire could likely have "disappeared" into the conduit. First hand knowledge? NO but this will also get you to the top and I see that user '93 Ragtop has been by today and maybe he'll see it and post.
A single purple wire with that type of a connector I'd think pretty easy to disappear into the conduit.
In your image I'd think it in the conduit above C when it splits to the temp etc. - the O2 is a direct connection to the ECM and I'd think it's all in that conduit leading to the main harness.
