I own a 1984 4 plus 3. It is stumbling on hard acceleration and has a misfire. I put a 1984 fuel pump in last year and I ported the manifold. Everything else is STOCK. The plugs are light brown. No oil on any of them. So I think that I am starving for fuel and should get new injectors.
If I am correct, should I go with one that is more than the 64/6 5 lb stock injectors.
Oh and I am thinking of getting a new ECM. Anybody have a suggestion as to which one to use. I really want all of my displays to work. I understand that some of the aftermarket ECM do not power the milage readout.
I am not sure. But, I do not get an error code. Although about a week ago the SEL came on car was running bad. Went to Auto Zone to get the code read. It was gone. Will The ALDI program give me any help?

Mine never showed a code and would bog when hit it sputter and fart. o2's get old and slow not sure but you think you only have one.

So you think I should change the O2 sensor? I think that there is two. I forget. I keep getting the cars confused. I will look into the O2 sensor. Thank you

Any advice wrt an ECM
My 94 has three replaced the front two never ran better. O2's are a maintenance item often overlooked.
