There is a pic on the ProCharger website that shows a Corvette LT1 engine with their supercharger and it appears that the supercharger is driven by the engine serp belt. I would expect that the belt used for that application is much longer than a stock belt so the problem would be running the car without the supercharger possibly creating a bigger problem with the custom tune. Also finding a smaller belt to drive the accessories like the PS pump, alternator, A/C, and the idler pulley and tensionerYou do need to contact ProCharger to see what the turnaround time will be for a rebuild. I would suggest that the car not be driven until the work is done.

I started to mention the tune problem in my post above, but changed my mind...
...It does make sense that the tune would change if the procharger was bypassed, this could damage the engine if the car was run with the tune very far off....
