Electronic Spark Control Failure???
Have had this problem for awhile, code 42, no spark at plugs checked that already, replaced the ignition module already and the cars does not start at all now(the car used to start but you had to crank it and let it sit then come back and crank it again and it would start sometimes) Has anyone had this problem and just replaced the ESC unit and that was it, ESC unit is $60, the ECM is $90 with $140 core charge I don't want to was money on something that isn't the problem. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!

Maybe you should have the coil checked; if bad upgrade to a HyperTech coil/cap/rotor and some good spiral wound wires. Actually this wouldn't be a bad upgrade anyway.

I had the coil checked and it was good and the ignition module too, so is it the ECM or the ESC?????? Please help?????? ANYONE :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
