Trunk Releases

Trunk releases on both doors won't work,but the switch in the middle glove box does work, changed the fuse but it didn't make any difference. The car is a 1984 Vet.

I believe its on the same fuse as your curt light if that fuse is good look at the door switch if it thinks the door is closed it won't work.

Do you need the handbrake on for that button on an 84?

You do if it's a manual trans.

If it's an auto trans then the interior lights must be on (the switches are grounded through the interior light delay module).
