Default Removing Drive shaft Without Dropping Exhaust?

I've searched..... and it seems most people drop the exhaust and leave the center beam to remove the drives shaft. I'm wondering if anyone has had any success in removing the DS without dropping the exhaust. My car is an 84' and the exhaust bolts look sketchy. I did cut out the cat and ran a straight pipe last year..... shoudl have done the ujoints then

Pretty sure the exhaust is directly under the DS. That's like asking if you can take your brake pads off without taking your rims off

Everyone knows that if you are good enough you can take your brake pads off without taking off your rims.....

I'm more interested in the DS. I thought I read somewhere here that you can angle / slide it in a such a way and eliminate the need to remove the exhaust.

IDK, but I'm sure someone else does.

If it were me I would just get under there and have at it.
