Auto trans (700R4) governor replace experience?
Judging from what I've read here and in my Helms manual I think I need to replace my governor. At full throttle my 700R4 will shift from 1st to 2nd anywhere from 5,400 to almost 6,000....2nd to 3rd is 5,000 or a little sooner. At about 3/4 throttle it'll shift from 1st to 2nd at 5,000 rpm or a little sooner.
Does this sound like a good diagnosis?
Anything tips or tricks to changing it, or is it pretty straight forward?

I had mine replaced a while back. It would shift from 1st to neutral thats it. Guy replaced the govener and it worked ok. When he first told me i was like ok did you replace the mayor drive too?
