Default 92 computer in a 94

I recently bought a 1994 corvette. Everything works great I don't have any electronic issues but I did notice the computer in the truck is marked with 1992 vette like it came from a junkyard at some point in time. Is this a problem? Should I find an actual 1994 computer?

P.s. I haven't look at serial numbers to confirm it is a 92 computer.

'94 is very different from a '92 if you're speaking about the PCM/ECM for engine control. You mentioned "TRUCK" - did you maybe mean one of the compartments behind the seat? One side would have the radio CDM and the other side the EBCM for ABS. What are you actually referencing? If there are any numbers post them and maybe a snapshot of the part.

It is behind the driver seat in a compartment under the carpet. It's next to the abs module

The EBTCM is the same for '92 & '94 - if the brakes, ARS/TC work your fine I'd say.
