Under hood courtesy lights
I need to replace a whole under hood courtesy light unit. I noticed what seems to me , that you need to remove the two wire connections?? Is there a certain way to remove/replace these? Thanks in advance.

Are you talking at the lights or the connection itself? The wiring from the underhood lights go down and have connectors down near the frame roughly on the sides of the Radiator by the frame. At least that's what's on my 86.

The actual light unit itself. For some reason there is a short in it so I'm going to replace the whole unit. I'm going to keep all the wiring up to the unit. I just can't figure out how to get the actual light fixture out.
