HP gain?
Hello everyone. I want to purchase a 400" SBC and bolt on my heads, intake, headers and exhaust to it and get a retrofit roller cam that would be good up to 6000-6500 RPMs.
My 350 put down 344 rwhp 343 rwtq running slightly rich on the dyno and has the following mods: Miniram, 58mm throttle body, AFR 195 Eliminator Heads, Hooker Long tube 1 3/4" headers, Corsa true dual 2 1/2" exhaust with H pipe, flat tappet cam (224*/224* @ 0.050", 0.528"/0.528" with 1.6 roller rockers, 112* LSA) 10:1 compression, MSD 6AL2 ignition box.
So what I want to know is about how much HP I can gain by going to the 400 with a matching retrofit roller cam and porting out the Miniram a little bit more?
