I do not know for sure, but there was a switch from vinyl window to glass window sometime between 89 and later that might make a difference. I have a 89 and it has a vinyl window.
My wife's 93 has a plastic window in it now and I am thinking about looking for a 94-96 top & frame while we are at Carlisle this weekend. I would REALLY like to get rid of the convertible top with the plastic rear window and go to one with a glass rear window in it. I know that Mid America, Ecklers, ect. sell a "kit" to install a convertible top with a glass window in it for the earlier cars but I would rather just unbolt the original top & bolt on a new one.
Flame Red,
I looked at the link you provided . I don't want to go thru all that stuff if I don't have to. I am still hoping someone will post an answer to my original question. Will a 94-96 top frame "bolt on" to a 93????
You'd still need the retrofit kit installed. This holds the weight of the window when its down and plugs in the power for the defroster. Physically its the right size.
