I was talking about the pipe going to the air filter, if you tested it on the dyno and there was no change then it shouldnt be a problem.

Your elbow is identical to mine, a single plane with a carb spacer will flow plenty of air !

Im running fully synthetic trans fluid in mine and it seems to be holding up well, maybe there might be something to be gained by putting some decent trans fluid in ?

Yes maybe i should give it some better fluid and see where it takes me.
