Making the 4l60 stronger? Dyno problems

Do you mean the complete intake or just the intake pipe and air filter? We did try to remove the pipe in the dyno to see if it was restricting the air flow but the curve was the same. And kept dropping the more we pushed the tranny and oil temp increased. Could it be as simple as the tranny fluid? I have a cheaper type of DIII in it for the moment.
Your elbow is identical to mine, a single plane with a carb spacer will flow plenty of air !
Im running fully synthetic trans fluid in mine and it seems to be holding up well, maybe there might be something to be gained by putting some decent trans fluid in ?

I was talking about the pipe going to the air filter, if you tested it on the dyno and there was no change then it shouldnt be a problem.
