1995 coolant temperature sender torque spec

I've replaced coolant temperature sender, water pump, does it require a specifical torque?

At the moment i've just tight it very gently

Most sensors on engjnes do have torque specs, but some are more critical then others..For instance, knock sensors won't operate properly unless torqued to their specific spec..Others , like the coolant temp sensor are not as critical, but they all should still be torqued to spec if possible..This is why a FSM is a great book to have..

Not from a '95 but a '94 and it's spec'd as 17lbft or 23Nm for the ECT to pump.
