Default Oilpan options for L98?

Anybody know what 7 quart oil pans do not interfere with header installations and ground clearance? I guess it would have to be a kickout design. I'm looking to get a couple more quarts in if possible.

Thanks.

I'm using a Canton Racing Products road-race pan. The link: http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/...road_race.html

[EDIT] They run about $160-$190...
Does not interfere with headers, gives good ground clearance and works...don't ask me how well a stock pan holds up :bb

They say they are getting good results from drag racers with it too.

We are using the 7 qt. pan from TPIS, it fit without any modification. We have used this pan for the past 5 years with no problems.

We are using LPE long tube headers.

That's not the same pan...The "SBC Corvette Road Race Oil Pan" is the 15-240 for $263...

The 15-100 is an 8 1/2 qt pan..."Deep and wide"...(http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/pans/road_race/sbc_street.html)...

You are correct, I pulled the wrong number.

I have a 15-240T...I think it ran $285 through the machinist...

Well worth the money spent.

Scorp...I feel your pain. I managed to spin 2 rod bearings & crack the crankshaft in 2 places. All because I sucked some air into the pickup hitting a particularly agressive corner then nailing the gas. I saved $300 on the engine build, but am now pissing away $2k to fix it.

I am using the road race pan from http://www.champpans.com. It is very similar to the Canton pan but much less expensive. I think the model number is something like 100-rb-rr. Just call them up and ask them because I think they made some changes in their model numbers. It takes me 9 qts to change my oil. It has several trap doors on it just like the Canton. My engine builder said it is very high quality. Doesn't interfere with my Hooker long tube headers or starter.
