Default Knock sensor shield location

I have an 1989 vette with the L98 engine. I recently replaced my old knock sensor with a new one but I do not recall how the shield goes back on. Ive been searching endlessly for a good picture or diagram online showing the shield on but can't seem to find one. Would appreciate it if someone can find a pic for me...thanks!
Here is a pic of my old knock sensor still in with shield off.

And heres my shield

Look for another stud on the pan someplace that is not being used. I would say that the existing stud on the shield goes in the empty hole. The "missing stud" would go to the bolt that would be to the left on your picture if I am looking it it correctly. With the shield in place, it should deflect debris from the front of the engine to the rear. The back of shield (tallest part) would be to the rear of the car.

You forgot to say that this is a BEFORE picture and the pan has a new gasket and look very pretty now!
