48mm is the most frequently mentioned and I don't believe there were variations from MY to MY or car line.

If your thinking of installing a larger TB to increase power, forget it , unless you go over 400 hp the stock TB is plenty..I'm right around 400 hp and running the stock TB without any problems...WW

Not sure I'd agree. I bored my stock tb to 52mm. the throttle response was worth the upgrade IMO, motor has about 350-370 hp. The 52mm will accommodate future mods.

Excuseme, i don't understand very well.. 52 mm is better than 48? Even for stock engine?

I had to replace TB cause i've a problem on it... Stock engine 52mm would work fine on mine?

I'd buy a 1000cfm unit and get it over with if you are planning big mods for the future. OTOH, 52 is plenty for a stock unit. I had a friend that told me on back to back runs, he lost time by going to the 1000cfm unit ONLY. My thought is that without supporting mods, you could create a problem. I changed intakes and added headers and that was what Lingenfelter had at the time and what I had him tune for. Now that I have a 383 making about 420 at the wheels, I would think it is ok.

52mm ot 58mm is the only unit available as brand new part, 48mm is no longer available, just used??

I'd see what the plan is. Do 58 if you are planning serious mods or 52 if you aren't.

Think that i will replace just stock exhaust with a corsa exhaust and a little ecm reprogramming in the future just to optimize torque at low rpm

...that's all, IMO car is running very good as lt1 stock unit so 52mm should work fine for me...

Just a question stock intake manifold has which holes size? 48mm?
