1989 stock with auto trans, 49,000 miles
All of a sudden my rad fan comes on and will not go off. I am not over heating because temp gauge shows belove 190. Idle rpm is higher then normal and I get an check engine light. Sometimes the light comes and goes, other times it will come on and stay on until I turn off engine. I start up engine, and the fan comes on, but light will not come on until later down the road. I read FSM, but really don't understand it. Anyone got an idea and can give me a brief sentence on how this system works. If I know how system works, I can usually find the problem. I know the system has a CTS, Fan relay, and a Fan switch. Don't know if there are other things in the system. I know that the AC is in the system somenow
