Default AC question

I realize that I am rather far off from an AC recharge point, but the question is:

Can I buy a recharge kit from Azone and use R134a in my 93? Or- is my AC system using a different kind of refridgerant (freon)?

your 93 is still using r-12. you can do the conversion to 134, but it is recommended that you install a new evapoator canister and orafice tube filter at the same time, after having the system emptied at a recovery center.

good luck

I would spend the extra few bucks and get the R-12...But if you want to do it yourself here is some lite reading.

Do not covert to 134 freon. unless you can change the hoses required for 134 the freon can actualy leak through the hose itself. Bite the bullet and stick with r-12
