Torque Converter Questions
My tranny finally died, so I'm thinking about putting in a new torque converter while I am fixing it...What stall rating should I get, and how much time will that chop off my quarter mile times?
I'm running a supercharged 383 that I estimate is about 450 hp. What kind of things do I have to consider in choosing the right stall rating?
Also, lockup or non-lockup?

Do you have any dyno charts? Like where is your TQ/HP peak # in the rpm band, that will help you decide more than anything.
But just guessing, start with a 3000-3200 stall Vigilante, and theyll change it if it isnt what you want.
