96 new maf problem

Default 96 new maf problem
I just put in a 1000cfm maf, and ever since my car has been bogging down when I accelerate, and is puffing black smoke. I installed according to instructions. I also have a k&n with a cut air lid and a hi performance throttle body. TPS sensor was replaced about 2 weeks ago, so I didn't think it was that. HELP.

What happens when you disconnect the MAF and let it go to the defalt program?? It should run well but stall at times.

Sounds like that MAF is not calibrated correctly (assuming your car ran fine with the stock MAF).
