Brake light, ABS light, hatch ajar, and low coolant light
All these warning lights came on while I was driving home yesterday. I shut the car off thinking they wouldn't be on when I started it but they all are. I haven't gone out and checked today but just in case where do I start with the brake light and ABS light ? 1988 C4.

Check your brake fluid. Coolant fill. Ajust switch for the hatch.

Definitely makes sense. Thank you for the good advice. Electrical problems can be confusing until you get on the right track. I hadn't considered a common ground wire.

I haven't had time yet to chase the problem. However my truck breaks needed changed so I drove my 1988 Corvette to work. I leave at 4am and I turned on the headlights. My interior lights came on for several minutes and the door open ding ding never stopped. I pulled into work and turned off the lights and that is when the ding ding stopped. I suspect there may be a problem with my ECM ? I'm going to disconnect the battery and see if that clears this odd ball problem.

Ok no problem with the ECM. Where do I start ? I open the hood and then what ? I know this sounds ridiculous but electrical issues have me perplexed.

Most have a ground under the carpet just in front of the drivers door.

G201 in every early FSM I've seen says it's behind the I/P to the left of the column BUT is more often found to be at the left side kick-panel. Do a search for G201 in the C4 forum search for a multitude of comments.
The "chime module" is maybe an unrelated but maybe a ground check first since it's a "shared ground" point also.
I believe once found because it may involve removing the sill trim I'd maybe move it to a new position higher on the kick-panel sheet-metal.
The fact that you've got coolant doesn't rule out a level sensor failure in the radiator and the ajar light that's maybe also. Once you clean/confirm the ground anything that remains require a one by one check.

did you check fuses? I seem to recall there is a pink wire ( or pink with black stripe) at the front left of the car (near the charcoal canister/Headlight) that chafes against a bracket, which causes the ABS to not work, along with other circuits.. I was told this by Gordon Killebrew many years ago (back in the 90s) when I first had my 89. Once I found the wire and taped it, replaced the fuse, everything worked.
Keep in mind it was close to 20 years ago so my memory of the exact issue is a bit foggy, but this might be the same thing
