Hi All,

Sorry if this is redundant, the search didn't find the results I'm looking for.

I removed the front plate from the compressor.
Is it just the snap ring that holds the bearing in place? Or is there something additional that keeps it in place?



What is the cracked outer ring?

Never been in there but it sure look like you found it.

Watch out for the washer-like things next to the hub in the first picture. They are spacers to set the clearance for the clutch and they need to be in place.

Snap ring is all that holds the clutch in place and it's a pain to get seated properly. At least it was on my 92.

I decided to go with a new clutch assembly.
Are there any tricks or tips for removing the assembly?
