1988 4+3 tune
Hi guys,
Which bin and mask could I use so that my 4+3 will shift into overdrive?
I did a first burn using $6 and apyp bin and now it won't shift into overdrive.

I left it as is, because I thought the apyp was for manual . Do you have a 4+3 and run this setup? Isn't the 6$ mask for 1989 running a 6 speed? I'm new to this.
I will check the manual box and re burn. See what happens. It's sort of unique because it would also need to see something for overdrive and kick down yet is still a manual transmission.

It would make the most sense to use a $32B mask 4+3 bin from 88 for an 88 4+3 car. Why not use your original bin as a base?
$6E bins don't contain any 4+3 specific logic, instead they have CAGS and TCC logic for manual and auto cars respectively.

I tried the arap bin and now it shifts into overdrive although now I have no control to shut it off.
Where could I find an original bin tequila boy?
I would like to shut it off except when I'm in 4th.

So now I see there are constants that have tcc unlock and lock options. Would unlock mean for it to engage overdrive?
Another question is the max spark advance setting . The current bin is set at 41.84 degrees yet the spark advance table vs rpm vs load goes as high as 48.16. What's with that?
