Here are some pics of Boyd Coddington wheels that are supposed to fit on 88 and up C4s. This is not a plug for the Boyd Coddington. (wish it was so I could save a few bucks :)) I have been thinking about some new wheels for my ride.

Re: Boyd Coddington Wheels on C4 (AquaMetallic94LT1)
We have a set of the 17" Boyd "Daytona" wheels on our Turquoise Metallic '91 coupe. Bought the WHOLE SET brand new for $500, and the guy let me pick between three styles. (Probably ex-employee.) Bought them out of the Recycler. Everyone else though the ad meant $500/wheel (which was retail at the time). Anyway, my views on Boyd Wheels:
Their wheels are of the highest quality but Boyd's service is well... EVEN BETTER!
We have the hex centers on ours and the wheels I purchased were the old design with a plastic inset logo in the center-cap. Using their spanner, I scratched the aluminum on two of the center-caps. I took the entire set of caps to Boyd's (about 15 mi from here) to get a couple replacements, and Boyds said they no longer made that style. The new replacement centers were like $236/each! (OOOUCH!) But the guy asked for my old centers and gave me four of the new-style, billit centers AT NO CHARGE! The four centers alone were almost twice what I paid for the wheels with centers. They also gave me a new spanner that was a better fit and some tipes to avoid scratching the centers when removing them.
Now the negatives:
The Boyd's aluminum on my wheels is EXTREMELY soft and even just dropping a lug nut onto the wheel when removing it will dent the aluminum. Scratches are inevitable. Also because the metal is so soft, the wheels loose their gloss and take on a satin sheen unless polished regularly.
Also, our wheels are 10" wide, and the the off-set is just off from stock slightly. On the rear, this puts the tires right at the edge of the wheel wells (very agressive looking) but it makes the front wheels stick out a little. Not so much that tread sticks out, but the sidewalls definately protrude. On the flip side, because of the slight additional width and off-set, you could run fatter tires without rubbing on chassis components. Perhaps, ours were off-set for a Camaro/Firebird and a set specifically for a Corvette (if offered) may have been a better fit. But then at $500, who was I to argue or ty to return them?
Since you don't like polishing them all the time, take them off and I will give you $500 for them. Then you can go buy chrome Cragars... :yesnod:

To see, go into "Pacific events" section and go to posting by FN80 entitled Monterey! Go down to the 15th pic and it is the Turquoise Metallic '91 that is front and center. (Wheels are a little hard to see though.)
