Emergency Hood Release.
Here is my take on the Emergency Hood Release.
It took about an hour to do. Good luck, it's pretty easy.
You will need to go to Home Depot to get these parts and it only costs, $3.80. Get 3feet of 1/8th inch cable. 2 packages of 3/32th Aluminum Ferrules.
Cut the Wire in half giving you 2 pieces a Foot and a half in length.
Take one end and slip the ferrule through then make a small loop and then take a hammer and smash the Ferrule until it becomes tight.
Take a small drill bit and drill through the middle of the Hood rubber.
Thread the unfinished end through the rubber and thread it through the hood latch. Make a loop big enough to where it doesn't bind on anything and thread it through the Ferrule and Hammer it together tightly. Trim the ends as needed.
Before you close the hood check both sides to see if they open properly without binding. Good luck.
