I had mine replaced almost a year and immediately put it in the garage and flew away till just recently. Well I noticed the gasket doesnt look to be sealed very well in passenger side corner by targa top. And the molded gasket looks dented as if it was stored in a box and formed to its confined spaces. Its my fault for not being thourough before I took posession of it from safelite.
So, can it be replaced fairly easily. I am somewhat mechanically inclined.

I have a 93 vert
I had am having great luck with the wilcox corvette windhsield header weatherstripping. I believe it was the weatherstripping made by 'corvette rubber' in cadillac michigan that they sold me.
Be advised to buy it through wilcox as they had a better price on it (as a dealer) than if i would have tried to buy it direct from corvette rubber
Its been 3 years and the stuff is holding up great.
I did not have any trouble installing it, i used the recommended 3M butyl style adhesive and also thoroughly cleaned all traces of old gasket material out of the channels using different sized screwdrivers.
I am also using dielectric grease to protect it and keep it sealing good to my vert top.
