I did that, plus A/C on a project. Found a pattern for a AIR eliminator bracket and made one. Many trips to the store to exchange for correct belt length, tho. Despite reading that I could get by s/o the AIR adapter, the belt alignment required it.
Iimportant for belt routing to get WP turning correct direction.
There have been a few large threads with lots of pix. On mine I used the top A/C brace after removing the A/C over on the top of the alternator. I made a thread about it awhile back. Quick pic:
I'm also looking to do the same, seems to me the best way would be to move the alternator to where the ac was and use a standard rotation power steering pump like the zr1 pump.
