Wife would like to put a supercharger on our '91 coupe, automatic (no problem for me either), and I was wondering if there are other weak links in the chain that are not up to the additional 100 or so hp. Can the 700R4 take the strain? Would the stock U-joints hold up? Car has 57K miles.
Would like to hear from those with experience and also about the advantandes/disadvantages of the different makes that have CARB E-O#s.
Thanks
100 hp should be fine, but post this in the C4 forced induction forum.
The Procharger kit for an LT-1 at least boasts 480HP and I've never heard anyone having to beef anything else up. I personally am going w/ the Procharger and I upgraded my injectors to 30# just in case. That's it though.
Amazing. A supercharger will not in any way increase your emissions, yet the People's Republik of Kalifornia still feels it's necessary to make it illegal.
I'd just try to ask around and find out where to get a sticker. There's got to be places.
