Default LT1 pulling damper hub

Many times in the past to pull a damper I have always removed main bolt and washer then installed bolt alone then used puller to remove damper, does this hold true on LT1s from a 95? Granted I have like no room to begin with but it seems like very excessive force to try and remove just the hub. Any insight from anyone? I think I saw a mention of a Allen bolt possibly for this engine.

On the lt1 there is a very uniquely designed dampener or balancer on this engine it serves 2 purposes one as the main drive pulley and two as the dampener there are three bolts that hold it to the hub if you undo these three it will come apart into two pieces they did this so you can get to the distributor cap for service cause on the lt1 it is located behind it and the water pump

Use P B plaster, I sprayed it on 2 days ago and this A.M. I worked it a little and it came right off compared to last time when force had to be used.

If you run into this problem again split the radiator housing and get all that out of the way then use a hammer driver they will come right out you can pick one up at any local part house for around $20 they come in reall handy for stuck bolts I use mine so much I bought a second one just as backup

It is by far the hardest front section I have ever done, feel sorry for Camaro guys. I've read and sometimes over research too much, but I've read Allen bolt heads, I've read remove engine right away its easier, yes the pb blast-btw is a godsend not wd40, and I've read a 1/4 extension 6" long and no bolt. Just making sure, and I'd rather ask than hurt a crank that I didn't need to. Thanks as always for the input. Need to get this car ready for a show I was happily forced into.

are you trying to separate the balancer from the hub?
or
are you trying to pull the hub off the crankshaft snout ?
