Default SES 1989 Corvette

Looking for a bit of advice: just had a straight dual exhaust installed on my Vette with the third (back) cat removed and now the SES light has come on for the first time, although a week later.
Could both be related?

Pull the codes with a paperclip and you won't have to wait. That's my up front advice. No judgment involved, just good advice. Knowledge is power. Knowing the codes will help you (and us) a lot.
